History Of Copper-Creek

This is the dedication page to my Sister and my Friend, Carol Pincus Vola.  Carol left me an unbelievable gift, Copper Creek Vizslas.  In 1999 Carol passed away very unexpectantly leaving behind her legacy and as promised giving us a puppy from CH Copper Creek's Let It Be JH and DC AFC Arsla and Auburn's Sunny Boy, MH.  Carol loved her dogs and I am blessed to carry on the legacy that she believed in.  I know she is very proud of everyone and the ones that have gone over the rainbow bridge, she is happy to have them in her pack....Life Goes On!

Carol showed her beloved Skip who was just a heinz 57 variety and she spent countless hours with him training and teaching him tricks.  He was the best.  Carol went off to Nursing School and became a great Critical Care Nurse.  She came back into the dog world and found the breed Vizsla and her passion for competing in events started again.  Her first Vizsla was Rusty, then came Tara and Greta and then her foundation bitch Darby.  Darby was bred twice and produced CH Copper Creek's Abbey Road JH "Abbey", Abbey was bred three times and produced CH Copper Creek's Let It Be JH "Libby" who won Winners Bitch at the VCA Nationals in Connestoga.  I had no idea until I started showing what that meant.  What a thrill it was for Carol, a breeder, owner handler!  I had to watch the National Tapes every time I went to see her, it was great to relive that moment with her.

Here are some pictures of Carol (right) in the beginning with her dog Skip, who won "King" of the Asbury Park Dog Show.  Carol loved showing and would watch Westminster on TV in B&W...remember when!
